Chris Sally is a developer and economic development consultant who began his real estate career in high school, earning his real estate license in California at the age of 18.

Currently a partner at Development Initiatives, he specializes in the creative solutions to analytic issues of real estate development. From financial analysis and cost benefit impact analysis to providing owners representation services on complex urban development projects, he provides tangible value for his clients.

He has developed four projects in the River Market – 5 Delaware, Gallo, First + Main and Muehlebach (414 Oak). Design and sustainability are cornerstones for each of his projects. In 2006 Dwell magazine featured 5 Delaware on the cover and highlighted his home in the annual ‘Modern Across America’ issue. His projects have also been featured on HGTV Television, “What you get for the Money”.

Formerly, Chris was the Downtown Development Director for the Economic Development Corporation(EDC) of Kansas City, working closely with Mayor Kay Barnes on the multi-billion dollar Downtown Renaissance that served as a catalyst for Kansas City’s transformation.
